I have a question on auto analyzing a route. My preference is set to “Automatically Analyze Route” and “Auto Fine Tune”. It looks to me a ride can be re-analyzed if the start and the end points are the same. If I go ahead and use tools -> analyze route, in some cases iBike asks me whether the beginning and the end of the ride is the same (and so far it's gotten this right every time). Is analyzing a ride twice O.K. then? Is this something I should or should not do? During yesterday’s ride, for instance, I did two 20 min intervals. I downloaded the file and got a set of wattage values for the two intervals. Then I analyzed the route again and I got higher wattages. A couple of watts don’t bother me, but this was about 20 watts. Is there a rule of thumb as to when one should or should not attempt a second analysis? Considering that my iAero has been pretty consistent, could this be just a fluke, maybe?

The analyze route function really puzzles me as well, is it possible to have a more detailed user guide on this function. It can dramatically change the results of a given ride if it's used incorrectly and I think it's worth-while.

Yes, I too find changes in power after going into this option and making tweaks.
I guess this is to further fine tune the readings if we know more about the conditions of the ride. For example one a regular ride - if I know the exact start and end elevation points but on the downloaded ride - it's incorrect (ie the differential is incorrect), adjusting this on this screen will change the power readings. The incorrect readings could be due to atmospheric changes in barometer during the ride for example.
