What does this error message mean?

Post by dtrousdale »

I started uploading a ride from my iAero to iBike 4 for Windows Vista. Soon after the upload started, I got an error message: "LabView: Memory is full." For the full text of the message, see the capture of the message window I attached below. After this message appeared, the upload status window seemed hung up, and on it there appeared two little icons I did not recognize. I should have captured this window, too, but did not. After waiting a while, and since it seemed hung, I shut down iBike 4 and then restarted it. The upload process worked fine the second time. But anyway I'd like to know what the error message means. BTW the iAero memory had been fully erased prior to my ride.

That dialog is not referring to the iAero memory. Is there any chance that you turned off "Automatically Analyze Route" in the preferences window when you tried the second time? In any case, please send the ride file in question to me at my velocomp address: tpape. This might be an issue that I already caught for the next build, but I would like to look at the file to make sure.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have also received this error. I just received my IPro today and am able to get it to connect but cannot download the calibration ride, rides and profile. I can download tire circumference and my weight information but nothing else. When I try to download a ride, I get a ride list with incorrect dates and a distance of 0 miles.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

THanks,

I did send in my ride file per Travis' request, I told him that there was nothing I had done differently, and I have not heard a response yet.

I Tried downloading the files on a Windows laptop instead of my Mac and had success. The IBike software did cause the system to crash twice however. Are you running on Mac?

I just re-installed the USB driver on the Mac and the download worked perfectly. Perhaps it would be worth trying.
