New Garmin ConnectIQ app for PowerPod and AeroPod

Post by Velocomp »

We have just posted the new "Velocomp" ConnectIQ app for PowerPod and AeroPod.

The Velocomp ConnectIQ app replaces our current AeroPod2.0 and AeroPod CdA apps.

The Velocomp app is compatible with an extremely wide variety of Garmin devices. It is designed for PowerPod and AeroPod products and has these new features:

1) The Velocomp app now guides you through the cal ride, with messages telling you what to do and when to do it. No more looking at the status light on your device!

2) There is a screen designed exclusively for PowerPods. This screen will appear automatically whenever your Garmin is connected to a PowerPod

3) There is a screen designed exclusively for AeroPods. This screen will appear automatically whenever your Garmin is connected to an AeroPod

Instructions for downloading, installing, and using the Velocomp app are attached.

Version 1.0.1 of Velocomp has been released, improving the cal ride support and to add "power" to the AeroPod screen.

John -

If I am using a PP, but all options are unlocked and I am also using a DFPM - does the new IQ app enable the details as if it were an AP?

Thanks,

Tom

I think so; if the app detects a DFPM then it shows the AP screen
