Ibike Auto-Off for Gen III

Post by jslopez93 »

Seems like my Ibike 3 will not turn off automatically (I have to go to the battery setting to turn off) is this something I can fix via the software? I have 3.00 in the serial # release if that helps.

How long does it stay on? With the new Gen, we decided to increase the sleep timer for Gen3 to 20 minutes. This way people weren't having to wake the unit up when going in to a store stop or so, or forget to wake it up and lose out on data if they don't look down (never happened to me. . .I'm always looking down!)

To add to what Boyd said, note that the timeout is only that long if the iBike is set to wireless on (which it will be for most Gen3 owners).

Also, keep in mind that the iBike is always on--it has to keep time even if the display is off. If you want to force the display to turn off, you can go to the battery voltage display in setup and hit the center button once.
