Powerpod wont connect to CPU or charge

I am having a problem with my powerpod.

When I connected it to my PC today a mesaage saying "USB accessories disabled" subsequently the Popwerpod won't connect to Issac and won't charge when using a dedicated USB sharger.

I have tried the following
Other USB devices and they do not produce the same pop up
Different USB cords
Differnet USB cords with dedicated USB charger
Different CPU
Hard Reset once plugged in once not

I suspect it will work as a powermetre utill the battery dies but after that it will be dead. My garmin is already telling me the battery is low.
Hoping someone can help.

So I have had some improvement. I cleaned the port on the powerpod and now i can plug it into the laptop. it will connect to Issac but when I connect it to a usb charger it flashes red 12 times and then the light goes out. It doenst charge when connected to the laptop. Anyone have any thoughts?
