power to high after new cal ride
power to high after new cal ride
Hello, on 17-10 i did a new cal ride because i changed the hight from my handlebar. Today i did a ride and the power seems a bit to high so i did check calibration and after that the power seems way to low. There was a difference in the wind scaling and fric. Which one should i use?

Your 57 km ride file looks OK. In the ride file there are portions where there are substantial headwinds. If you do a check calibration this will lower the power numbers.
You should only do Check Calibration when there is an out and back ride. The elevation profile shows that this was not an out/back ride.

I normally tag in a cal ride at the end of a ride. You can push centre button to reset your ride to be new, goto settings then select Cal ride then do a warm down out and back in ride worthwhile and means you dont have to suit up just for a 1.6km ride.

today i did an out and back ride, because i still had doubts about the wattage, there was a big difference after check calibration. Windscaling and fric where way off, which one should i use. I think the original had to high wattage and after is to low.

Re: power to high after new cal ride
This ride shows your wind scaling was too high, causing high watts.
In the Check Calibration feature, click the Send to iBike button to update your profile. That should fix things.
