New error(?) message

Post by Ratman »

I have an iAero with a wired standard handlebar amount. Ever since I downloaded the new 1.31 iAero firmware and 2.0.7 iBike software upgrades, I get the following message when I attempt to download a new ride:

Found new wireless ID's in the iBike unit. Would you like to save these in your matching profile "4-mile ride: 6/9/2008"?

Since I don't have wireless capabilities, this message doesn't make much sense. If I answer "Yes," it goes to a window asking me to select from a list of direct force power meters. On the brighter side, I can just cancel out of the pop-up box with no apparent consequences. Is this "normal?" Could this be a "bug" in the software?

Thanks.

Travis at Velocomp is aware of this.

A temporary workaround is to just pick "Other" out of the list of wireless DFPMs (even though you don't have wireless) and let the software modify the ID in your profile. This will stop the message from occurring with no consequences to your ride data.
