Hard Reset

Post by RoadCycleNut »

Powerpod died during a ride today, schoolboy error on my part forgot to charge. Anyways got home and put it on charge. When I turned it back on the light was solid red. Wouldn't connect to anything so I did a Hard Reset. My question is will I have to do another calibration ride? When I turned the cranks it appeared that the power displayed on my Garmin was counting up from 1W like it would on a calibration ride.

Thanks in advance

If you've used your PP on previous rides, then your calibration information is stored, even when your battery goes dead.

Light should flash red during charging, then go out when fully charged.

When you attach PP to your bike, then click its button, light should flash green until paired; then, solid green. Is this what you find?

It may take 8 minutes on your next ride for PP to totally recalibrate itself.
