Trying to merge Tracker with ride Data

Did a race today I know start was 8:32 but I turned on tracker before hand as a back up in case of a Garmin failure, well Garmin died short of race end but doing merge everything is out of wack. Race ride says 1:39 in the afternoon and when I repair time it only picks up my warm up and not my 116 mile ride.

I downloaded the course in GPS and TCX thinking I could use the newton and merge with that but it does not merge anything.


Any help would be appreciative as I really wanted to add to Strava with GPS.

Please post tcx and fox versions of your Garmin file for this race.

You also had Newton Tracker file from your smartphone?

Hi Yah have uploaded rar that has gps and tcx note this is exported from Strava routes.

How do I get the tracker file from smart phone?

Did you purchase the Newton Tracker feature for your PowerPod? If so, the files should merge automatically in Isaac.

Yup I have Newton Isaac and have both gps and tracker keys I know Newton tracker recorded the ride as I clicked on stop when I finished the race.

Right now I have full race on Newton but no GPS and only a partial on the Garmin. Tried doing some merging but to no avail. Trying to get someone who did the race to send me their file as it does not seem to work with a course file.

Ideally could pull the file from the phone or NT

You need to create a Newton Tracker account, both for your smartphone and your copy of Isaac. Have you done this? Here are the instructions for NT:

Hi John I am already logged on as paul@nzrealm.com on smart phone and Isaac Newton Software. Is there a way to check NT if my ride is there or on my phone as I did have power saving on so no background data was allowed but have turned that off now. I might try and do another small ride with NT to push it through, just annoying as I thought I had my bases covered with Garmin and NT.

I give up wont even merge a fit from my mates Garmin using Isaac I suspect the orginal Newton ride is corrupt.
