I have an iBike gen III Aero that I will be replacing soon with a Newton. In the mean time, I am going to purchase a Garmin 500 edge and I was wondering if the iBike can share with the Edge the same sensor since both are ANT+. In addition can the two files be merged when uploading to Training Peaks? What I would like to see is my wattage in some sections of a climb on Google Earth. I ride GMR to the Baldy ski lift several times a month and I am trying to use these sections (9 to 12%) as a reference to increase my power or in other words, decrease my time to the lift from the village.
Thanks
Ettore

Yes, both units can share the same sensor simultaneously.
Yes, both files can be merged into one, using the Isaac software. You'll have power and maps...

Hmm. I'm surprised -- my Newton wouldn't pair-up with the cadence signal on the Ant+ Garmin GSC-10 speed/cadence sensor that I've been using with my Garmin 705.Velocomp wrote:Yes, both units can share the same sensor simultaneously.

Scan for signals again. The GSC-10 is recognized as SPCD by Newton.
