12/24 hour setting in Newton 5/6

Post by Zoltan »

Hi,

I do remember that in fw 4.xx 12/24 hour was in User sequence.

But how to switch from 12 hours (am/pm) to 24 hours if one is over fw 4.xx? In Fw 5/6 there is no User sequence any more.
And it seems that applying metric from english with Isaac (set units) has no effect on 12/24.

We have not updated Newton FW since 2014, when we eliminated the User sequence.

You'll need to do these kinds of corrections in Isaac.

Sorry, John, I meant where to do it in Isaac? Simply changing English to metric has not changed 12h to 24h. Is there any other place within Isaac (latest version is installed) where I can make the correction?

You can repair the date/time of a ride file in Isaac using the command below.

You can change Newton ENGLISH/METRIC settings from Isaac.

Then I am stuck, because the function you nicely point to is the one I used without any effect on 12/24h. The units of all the other measures like those of elevation, weights and distance are correctly changed to metric.

This is by memory only, but I do not believe we ever implemented 12/24H time. In any event yes, you are stuck :(
