When you do a fitness test, your fitness score from your prior test will be shown as a goal line.
The yellow pointer shows your current level of effort; the red pointer shows your cumulative (average) level of effort.
The object of the Fitness Test is to get the red pointer to the right of the goal line and keep it there; when you do, you've beaten your best prior score.
