Speed/cadence sensor upgrade: steps needed
Speed/cadence sensor upgrade: steps needed
If I upgrade my old Garmin GSC-10 speed/cadence sensor to separate magnetless speed and cadence sensors, what steps of the Powerpod setup I must redo?
Re: Speed/cadence sensor upgrade: steps needed
1) Remove the GSC-10
2) Install the magnet-less Garmin sensors, with the speed sensor on the front hub
3) Spin both the front wheel and the crank for about 10 seconds, so that your new sensors will be awake
4) Press-hold the PP button for about 4 seconds, until it starts to flash green
5) Once pairing is complete the light will show solid green. Then, the light will go out
6) Click the PP button. Most likely you will then see the light solid Yellow. Repeat your five minute ride, then you will be good to go.
