Footon Servetto

Post by ghost »

I just saw a picture of the new team kits and bikes. Looks like they're running iAero's, but iBike is not listed on their sponsors.

On a related note, does iBike do any sponsorships with collegiate teams?

Yeah, I think those bikes come free with the new 2010 IAero. You buy a new IAero and they get a free bike.
If enough people buy an IAero both riders get a bike and not have to share.

Manuel Cardoso (POR) Footon-Servetto-Fuji has just won the 3rd stage of the Tour Down Under. I wonder if he had an iBike on board. Would love to get a download of that file.

Here is a video of that race. Unfortunately they don't have their iBikes on right now but will be getting them soon. We'll definitely get some files from races and hopefully more victorires.

Shame the chaps at velocomp couldn't have a say about the kit design. It's a shocker!

I echo above - it would be interesting to view the files occasionally if the riders are willing.

I was lucky enough to get over the Adelaide for the TDU. Shame to see them without the iBike. The kindest thing I can say about their kit is they stand out.
I rode stage 4 (along with thousands of others), 164 km. Did it in 5 hours and the pros did it in 3.5. That kind of puts things in perspective.
