Hi,
Assuming the Powerpod records ambient temperature then my unit is inconsistently inaccurate. In the last few days for example it read 2 degrees C on a 13 degree morning and in the afternoon it tracked my Garmin closely ( and correctly I believe) and two days later started at the correct figure but failed to record a 15 degree rise during the ride.
Is there anything I can do to fix this ?
and if I can't:
Does it make any substantial difference to my data
Thanks in anticipation of your assistance
Ian
Temperature readings way off in Powerpod
Re: Temperature readings way off in Powerpod
Absolute temperature settings have no effect on other measurements.
Please post a ride file and we will take a look.

Thanks John. I enclose a ride file which has a temperature of 10 degrees C on it according to Issaac. It was closer to 30 at the time. Are you up early? Because by my calculations it is now 430 a.m your time and your post was even earlier.
Cheers,
Ian

I did some checking. In older versions of Isaac there was a way to "adjust" in Isaac files the temperature setting.
Over the years this particular feature disappeared.
That said, apart from the inconvenience of having temperature discrepancies, there is no effect on your measurements.
