winter CdA and wind scaling questions

Post by whynotride »

Just wondering if anyone else has done something like this.
In the winter, I wear a good deal more clothing than during the rest of the year.
I wonder if anyone uses a different CdA figure from season to season?
How about a different wind scaling number?
If you do use different numbers, what do you find works the best for you?
How did you arrive at the number(s) you use?

If you're wearing heavy winter clothing, I'd increase your CdA number by about 0.05.

Wind scaling does not need to be adjusted.

I arrived at this number by doing actual PowerPod Wind Tunnel testing...something we are getting ready to release!
