I have found that my Newton requires me to run a scan at every ride and sometimes loses connection with the sensor in ride as well (fresh battery or not and same with a Garmin and a Wahoo sensor).
Its a bit annoying and could live with it but for the fact that when racing the scan inevitably picks up someone else's direct force power meter.
Is there some setting I changed to cause this? I don't recall this happening until recently.
Thanks.

Re: Sensor issues
The Scan process memorizes the wireless IDs of your ANT sensors. The IDs are memorized permanently. As long as your sensors are operating, there should be no reason to do a new Scan.
If you're changing profiles, afterwards you DO have to turn the Newton off and then back on, in order for the wireless IDs to be updated. This is a small bug that will be corrected in the next FW release.

Re: Sensor issues
We have posted today FW 4.14, which corrects this annoying problem. You no longer have to turn off/on the Newton after switching profiles.
