ibike recently not picking up speed or HR wireless sensors. Was paired and used to pick up as soon as the wheel turned. However, now its not doing that and I have to go through the menu to the wireless scan option. it then finds the wheel but on my ride saturday it never did pick up the HR. How do I get it set back up to auto, atically search for the wireless sensors when the ibike is woke up.
***side note, I dont currently have the cadence sensor mounted. Does that mess up any of the power calculations? Ive never used cadence and if its not needed would just as soon not have it mounted on my bike

Re: wireless sensor issue
Without cadence, the computer will not know if you are pedaling - should result in zero watts.
You may need a new battery in the HR strap.

Re: wireless sensor issue
I think that is an inaccurate statement. ibike has a wired mount with no cadence, you can also purchase the wireless with only the speed sensor. If the cadence sensor is paired, and it's reading the cadence, then stops, yes no power. But if the Cadence sensor is never paird or connected, it still reports power. Same with the wired version. If the cadence sensor gets chaffed and doesn't report cadence, because the ibike thinks there is a sensor it'll report no watts. In short if the ibike is expecting to receive cadence, and doesn't, 0 power, if it doesn't expect to get cadence, then it isn't relying on a cadence reading.lorduintah wrote:Without cadence, the computer will not know if you are pedaling - should result in zero watts.
