Power2Max support
I recently added a Power2Max DFPM to my bike and was wondering what's entailed in supporting the P2M like the others listed in the Isaac sensors screen like SRM, Quark? The Power2Max seems to be working fine using the 'Other' designation but what happens/what's different when a product-specific prof...

Re: New USB Adapter Software for Mac
I've been an iBike Pro user for a long time and just got a 2nd iBike Pro for my wife. I also just got a new 'Sandy Bridge' MacBook Pro and migrated my iBike 5.0.8 installation and files to the new MBP. While iBike 5.0.8 launches and runs fine, clearly the drivers don't. With the iBike (current firmw...

Re: An important new cycling measurement: Effort Speed
Sorry I'm late to the party on this. The concept is really fascinating and illustrates perfectly why iBike's approach, i.e., resistive forces, is so useful. Running iBike 5.0.8, I loaded eight (8) past ride files and calculated Effort Speed. Three of the eight files had Effort Speed higher than Road...

Re: HR wrong @ ride start
Thanks, I should give that a try though I confess I thought I was done with creams and water ala Polar HRMs. Wondering if over time, the belt's gotten "gunked" up enough to cause the problem. I'll sponge it off and see what happens too.

HR wrong @ ride start
What I thought was a spurious event, now seems to be a regular problem. When I start a ride after all sensors are found, the HR shown is wrong, perhaps half what it should be for the first 10-12 minutes. Then it ramps up to what it sh/be for the remainder of the ride. Since the problem occurred both...

Re: Fitness Test calculation
Wow, you guys are great. So in my Fitness test, the AP was 251 and the NP 257. Close enough to assume a good, solid effort, i.e., approx. 2% difference AP vs. NP.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Fitness Test calculation
Thanks so much for your reply under the circumstances. Hope you did well and being "wiped out" is worth it. :) Doing a trip reset before leaving, I did ride out to my start location for the test. Arriving warmed up, I started/finished the test and rode home but I did have three ride files ...

Re: Fitness Test calculation
I concur vis a vis a baseline from which to build; it's all "relative" after all isn't it?. Still , I'd like to get the deeper understanding that Boyd might provide when he returns. Perhaps a feature request might be to specify the length of the TT, i.e., 20, 30, 40, 60 minutes and get res...

Re: Fitness Test calculation
I entered my body weight of 175 lbs. hence the reason for my post. I recall wondering whether I should enter 174 or 175. I went with the higher since I hadn't weighed myself for a few days. A few days earlier it was 174.2 lbs. If I "ignore" the formula, the high 3, maybe low 4 seems about ...

Fitness Test calculation
First, as a new iBike Pro v3.09 owner—my first power meter—I'm thrilled with the device and its capabilities. The iBike folks are terrific and very responsive to all my questions. Thanks! :D For my first post, I just did the Fitness Test and have a question about the result. The iBike user manual sh...
