Can't connect to devices
I'm having trouble finding my ibike power with garmin and my computer. I've tried two different garmins, searched for power meter and keep getting 'power sensor not found' message. Also tried with my computer using ant+ usb dongle and can't find it either. It has worked well in the past. Any guidance?

Which Kinetic by Kurt Road Machine
I have a pretty new ( within last year) Kinetic by Kurt Road Machine. In Isaac I see two listings for Kinetic Road Machine, the power curve differs by about 20w at 20 mph.
How do I know which one to choose?
Thank you.

Is it possible to do FTP Test in Trainer Mode?
I will end up doing a lot of riding inside for a while. Is it possible to do FTP test on the trainer while in trainer mode?

Analyze Route/Check Calibration - Next Steps
I went on a short ride today, and my power numbers seemed very high for such an easy ride. The only thing different was I forgot water bottles, but I doubt the aero drag savings would impact anything. When I got back and uploaded to Isaac, I did Analyze Route and it suggested some changes which look...

Re: Climbing Total
Anecdotally, I mapped the ride on Map My Ride and it calculates the total ascent at 2,300'.

Re: Climbing Total
Thank you both for getting back to me, here is a little more information that may help: The ride is from Copper Mountain to Breckenridge CO and back. Start out at about 9,700', drop down to 9,000', climb back up to 9,500' then turn around and drop back down to 9,000' and then climb up to 9,700'. I a...

Climbing Total
I did a ride with my son today and when I import it is showing a total of 733' climbing. My Garmin showed 1,477', both show the same distance roughly. Is there something wrong with the file or my calibration?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Speed/Power Spikes, Ride File Empty
John,
Thanks for your help. I made adjustments to my speed sensor and rode again this morning. pretty flat ride so shouldn't see many spikes. Does this look like it's fixed?

Re: Speed/Power Spikes, Ride File Empty
Here are two rides I did over the weekend. In both rides, my total miles was higher in the ibike as compared to what garmin recorded. The second ride I couldn't compare speed/distance in real time as the iBike itself was frozen in the opening screen 'Fast Record'. It really seems like it comes down ...

Speed/Power Spikes, Ride File Empty
On my ride today, I noticed that my power, distance and speed numbers were really high for what I was doing. I also had my garmin 510 on so I could compare it to those numbers. I wrote down some totals and averages from the iBike before I synced to Isaac, and then compared to Garmin. iBike listed to...

Profile May be messed up
I rode to drop off my car today, under 2 miles each way, and my power was barely showing up. Looking at the files in Isaac it looks like it's showing a lot of braking, almost the whole ride.
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

One other item I should note is that when I was doing FTP test and it asked for my weight, I forgot to include weight of clothing, shoes, helmet, etc.

Profile fix question
I started using Newton in early March and believe I need to fix my profiles. When I started I entered my body weight with riding gear on and weighed my bike with water bottles and entered that. So my total weight was 205. Then a few weeks later I did an FTP test and when it asked my weight I entered...

Re: Re-calibration Necessary?
As I lose my winter weight (optimistic) and also ride more in shorts and short sleeves, should I also re-calibrate or just adjust my rider weight? My calibration ride was done with vest, arm and leg warmers and if I drop 4-5 lbs from that point is that enough of a change to re-calibrate? Thanks.
