Cyclocross-possible?

Post by Brodirt »

If so, how so? Im thinking that the rolling resistance issue would be too hard to overcome for reliable readings. Thoughts?

Yes, rolling resistance would be probably be the biggest challenge. iBike and iBike2 are not set up to deal with varying Crr presently, so the accuracy of the reported power would be compromised. This would also be an issue with MTB riding. Of course, you can try and see how it does and you may find that you get useful information even if the power isn't absolutely correct.

There are things we could do in the future as the iBike2 software evolves, but there are no immediate plans.
