Green ligh goes Off ????

I have had the power pod for just over a month and not once has it worked properly ??? for some reason now after spinning up and getting the sensors working , I press the power pod button gre en light comes on for a few seconds then goes off, Garmin head unit recognizes Speed and cadence recognizes Power pod BUT doesn't show any POWER.

Driving me mad , did reset .tell me what I am doing wrong.
1/ Woke up sensors
2/pressed power pod button , solid green light came on for a few seconds then went off.
3/ Garmin reading Cadence and speed show, confirmed Power meter connected
4/No power reading ???????????????????????????
