Dear John,
% count did not stop at 50W when doing out portion of calibration ride. Still turned around and did the back portion until % reached 100W, and actual watts appeared on the Garmin. Could you please advise if the cal ride was successful.

This is excellent. Your average wind speed is within 0.1 mph of average bike speed.
