Hi,
It's me again with a new question.
I'd like to know if the Garmin speed and cadence magnet-less sensors are compatible with Newton +6.
Is better to put the speed sensor on the front or back hub?

Yes, they work great!
Put the speed sensor on your front hub.
Put the speed sensor on your front hub.

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
Hi,
after I mounted Garmin's sensors everything went ok.
Now a new problem : after charging my Newton I go for a ride and on the screen for all the time appear “2 Scan” or “Cadence found” and the Newton doesn't start.
What can I do?

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
Do a new scan: press-hold the up and down arrows simultaneously for 4 seconds, until the scan starts. Release the buttons
Before starting the scan make sure your sensors are awake.

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
What do you mean with “sensors awake”?
Which is the best time to do the new scan?
1. before going for a ride when I'm still at home
2. during the ride when I'm cycling
To tell you the truth I already tried both metods and the Newton's screen shows : spd found, cadence found and then it always stays the message “2 scan” or "cadence found"!

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
1. Sensors are awake when they are transmitting. Spin your wheel and crank before doing a scan
2. You need to scan only one time. Your unit will remember your sensor IDS
3. "2 SCAN" means it found 2 sensors (speed and cadence). All is well
