No reading power- 0 watts
No reading power- 0 watts
Hi! After my last ride where I had a lot of problem in rainy day..no reading power, or for wind strange values..I made with 2 days ago a ride and no chance that AeroPod to read my power..wind, slope was ok I guess but my power was 0 W ,,when I pushed the button the colour was solid green..so what can I do? ...and yes in rain it s big problem, it s hard to stop at every few km to shake you tub, but ok..the big problem it s now..i checked my cadence, speed...was ok..just no power... thank you!
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
Please post a ride file that shows your problem; we will take a look!

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
surprise...device is full and I don t have the last ride at least..can be this the problem, also can I calibrate my aeropod from another ride?.. it s hard to find now a a good day (not too windy) for calibration..if yes, how?..Thank you!
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
Use "Device/Erase All Ride Files" to clean out your memory.
Until I see a ride file I won't be able to comment. If you have any ride files at all, please post and I will try to help.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
tell me please what it s the problem..again..yesterday was ok...today in the morning, no power reading..I told maybe because I changed my handlebar position, i made a new calibration..for 300 m was ok..i stop..when I started to ride..again no power reading..i changed the battery for speed sensor because i saw reading low sometimes..

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
Were you riding in rain or mist? It looks like your wind port became blocked.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
was in group ..ok power have to be low when I wasn t in front but not 0..something it s not good
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
Group ride...OK, the wind readings now make sense!
Please point to a specific place in your ride file where you think there may be a problem.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
on the entire ride my garmin showed 0 watts, but when my ride was uploaded on strava I saw that was one short segment with power...can be my garmin?
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
There is power everywhere in your ride file, and that was being transmitted to your Garmin.
I would check your Garmin, to make sure it is paired to your device.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
how it s possible to read slope, wind...and power no..
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
We do not send slope and wind data to Garmin. We send power data only.
Your ride file shows power and wind and slope. Your device is working properly.
If your Garmin does not have any power data, it's because something is wrong with your Garmin setup; most likely, your device is not paired to your Garmin.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
yes...how it s possible to see wind, slope, cda ?(in my case no cda because i use aero pod like powermeter so cda it s always 0 345).... it s possible to be my garmin but also i m confused now )
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
Sorry, my apologies! I did not know you were using an AeroPod.
Yes, of course, AP sends wind, slope data.
You are using AeroPod as a normal power meter (which is fine), without a DFPM (which is fine), I suspect on profile 4 (which is NOT fine).
On profile 4, AeroPod transmits DFPM power to Garmin. Since you don't have a DFPM, the power transmitted is 0.
Please change your AP to profile 1 to 3 (power meter profiles), then do a new sensor pairing and calibration. This should fix the problem.

Re: No reading power- 0 watts
yes but if i use another profile i can t see wind a slope..from what i remember, somebody from your team told me to do this....on this forum
Re: No reading power- 0 watts
On the FW version you have (703), slope and wind are available only on profile 4.
Please email technicalsupport@velocomp.com for the current FW (704).
