Aeropod Positioning

So, I went back to Garmin for my head unit primarily so that I could use Aeropod.

Unfortunately, with my Canyon, there aren’t a whole lot of options for mounting. The mount I have is all metal and very stiff, but results in the Aeropod pointing ever so slightly upward I believe. Is this problematic?

This is fine. As long as AP is not pointing excessively up (or down), at an angle greater than 25 degrees, it will work just fine.

Thanks. Another few dumb questions: I'm using Favero Assioma Duos as a DFPM. I'm running 175mm cranks. I've got my Garmin head unit set appropriately, but do I need to change the settings on the Aeropod?

I noticed in the Issac file, my heart rate also seems to be doubled.

I rode relaxed on the hoods during the calibration ride and seem to have gotten around a .4 CdA which seems about right. Will try and test it again tomorrow.

The Power Meter analysis was interesting. The difference between my DFPM and AnalyticCycling.com numbers was very small. The difference between my DFPM and Newton was larger (149.52w versus 166.63w). Don't know what it means, but cool.

Nevermind on the HR data. I now see that the HR channel is used for CdA data in Channel 4.
