HI,
After calibration the power displayed on Garmin 530 does seem to relate to effort, but it is very low...probably 100+ Watts below actual effort, so I get really low CdA. I use Assioma Duo pedals and they are always calibrated pre-ride.
Any ideas much appreciated,
Neil
Power Reading Low After Calibration
Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
Brings me to my next question...when I tried that, I got this:

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
Have you been able to download rides other than this? When was the last time you tried to download? Try clicking the download buttons a few times, and let me know if you continue to get this message.
Also, go to Device/SN-FW version, and post a screenshot of that window

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
You have an older PowerPod, manufactured in 2018. You will have to purchase a key to make it work with Isaac/Mac. I won't explain why in this post this is a paid upgrade (short summary: Apple did it), but you can read all about it here:

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
Thanks, that's another thing all sorted
For some reason the calibration ride I did yesterday is broken down into many rides when I downloaded it (there were 4, but it's only letting me attach 3!). I didn't touch the Aeropod after I got it into calibration mode. The calibration all seemed to go fine with regard to getting to 50w, then turn 70w, then 100w. But then when it should go to live power it was very low.
Thanks,
Neil

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
I don't understand why this file broke up into 3 parts.
The readings you see after completion of the cal ride are from your DFPM.
Your DFPM readings are extremely low. What kind of DFPM are you using? Clearly, it is not correctly calibrated with AP.

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
I have no idea why the file broke up, I didn't do anything with AP or my Garmin.
Assioma Duo pedals were calibrated prior to ride and have not had any issue with Garmin before or on Zwift etc.
How do I know if it is correctly calibrated with AP? I followed pairing procedure and everything went as expected.
Should I try another Cal ride? See what happens? Anything I should try?

Re: Power Reading Low After Calibration
Hmm...I have Assioma pedals and I have no problem with watts reading.
Please do a hard reset of your AP, then new sensor pairing, then new cal ride. Post a ride file that occurs after the cal ride.
