Drift in elevation data?

Does anyone else experience drift in the elevation data? I'm riding the same road out and bike several times, and my start/finish points on opposite sides of the road are rarely at the same elevation in the aeropod data, with commonly plus minus 2 metres of difference. My mounting solution is not ideal (there is a small amount of flex), is the tilt sensor used for teh calculation of elevation? Could this be a reason for the error that I am seeing?
Secondly, the measured elevation seems to lag behind the rest of the sensor data by 5-10 secs (the exact seems to change when I become stationary and then start riding again?). Can this be rectified?
Thanks in advance.
