AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

When I calibrate the aeropod using a Garmin 520 it says the power reads 50W and so on. Does this mean I need to set the Garmin to take the power reading from the aeropod insead of my DFPM powermeter?

AP rebroadcasts your DFPM power, except during calibration, where AP reports the calibration status.
