Description: I have 2 pair of wheels with different rims and tire sizes. Each has its own Speed Sensor, thus, I need two different "profiles" to use them in profile #4 and mainly profile #3
Question: is there a way to save (export) and eventually import (restore) the profile and being able to use it WITHOUT need to do a calibration ride?

Import/Export to Profile #4 and #3 (CdA measurements)

Yes, this is easy to do:TdeCampo wrote: ↑Tue May 20, 2025 4:16 pm Description: I have 2 pair of wheels with different rims and tire sizes. Each has its own Speed Sensor, thus, I need two different "profiles" to use them in profile #4 and mainly profile #3

1) Set up your "bike 1" profile and do a cal ride, then short ride afterwards
2) Connect your unit to VA
3) Go to Edit/Edit Profiles, and click "extract from device"
4) The full profile will appear; name it "bike 1"
5) Set up "bike 2" in a similar manner
6) Now you will have 2 distinct profiles in VA. To use them, connect your unit to VA, click on Edit Profiles, select the profile you want to use, then click on Send to Device. A new cal ride will not be needed

Re: Import/Export to Profile #4 and #3 (CdA measurements)
John,
Thank you!
I though I did what you described but most likely i messed up somehow.
I assume that using profile #3 or #4 should be the same because profile #4 the original setup is copied into profile #3 correct?
For what I understand profile #4 is copy to profile #3 but profile #3 is not copy into profile #4 thus, when I restore the saved profile I only can restore to profile #4 correct?
Thank you!

Re: Import/Export to Profile #4 and #3 (CdA measurements)
I'm not sure how you are using these profiles (that is, whether you are doing training in profile 3 or testing in profile 4).
Once you have both profiles stored in VA you can do the following :
1) Connect your unit to VA
2) Use Edit/Edit profiles to select the profile number you want to use in today's ride
3) After selecting the profile number, highlight in the profile window the profile information you want to load
4) Click "Send to Device". The stored profile will be transferred to your selected profile in your unit, and you will be ready to ride

Re: Import/Export to Profile #4 and #3 (CdA measurements)
John thank you, everything is working perfect!
Just as a foot note: when you add a new profile and enter all the data, it creates the profile for example Bike#1, then after do the calibration ride, all the calibration and pairing data is writing into the Prodile # 4 and copy to profile # 3. VA will still show under profiles the "initial setup data" This is not the profile you want to import but the profile that is in Profile #4 or #3. So my approach is the following:
-delete the original setup profile from Edit/Profiles
-Get from the device the profile that is in #4 or #3 which is the one I will keep.
-Export this profile so I can save it jic I need it in the future.
