I'm about to purchase an used Powerpod V3 and previous to that I would like to know if it can be upgraded to latest 8.01 fw version, is this possible to apply to any PP V3?
Thanks,
Gustavo.

Re: Powerpod V3 firmware upgrade
Yes, any PP can be upgraded to latest FW from our Isaac app.

Re: Powerpod V3 firmware upgrade
Any news on plans to make the Isaac software compatible with the newest MacOS and Apple silicon?
Re: Powerpod V3 firmware upgrade
Unfortunately this is out of our hands. Two, multi-billion dollar corporations, National Instruments and Silicon Labs, need to upgrade their drivers. Until they do we are unable to do anything.briarandbrine wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 2:35 pm Any news on plans to make the Isaac software compatible with the newest MacOS and Apple silicon?

Re: Powerpod V3 firmware upgrade
The best you can hope for right now is that Parallels and/or VMWare Fusion running on Apple Silicon can support older Mac OS version - Catalina and so on. There you can run Isaac in all its glory until software brings capability.
It really is no different for the Microsoft side in the near future - Windows 11 will not run on a number of current systems - and even the virtual world of VMWare and Parallels will face challenges in supporting the upcoming Windows.

Re: Powerpod V3 firmware upgrade
Just FYI - Isaac 5.1 (and the underlying Silicon Labs drivers) works fine on Win11. Silicon Labs surprisingly started keeping those updated via Windows Update about a year ago. Not had any issues so far.
