I bought 2 units of powerpod versión 2.
I try at that time to make work,
Never can do the OUT AND BACK RIDE well after reading and update, even go to a special venue ride bike olimpic to make it perfect, but always powerpod go to 50, I stop but power pod jump to 52, arrived to 100 and red blink.
After a accident I coming back to bike.
PLAYING AGAIN I already reset all profile and data FROM ISAAC.
Even I change sensor for new ones. SAME ALL SAME OLD.
Please velocomp HELP ME.
I don’t know what’s more.

You have 9 posts on the forum, as far back as 2017, and I re-read all of them. One of the posts had a two ride files--the data that we need in order to do analysis.

In the files you provided your rolling resistance was too low, but I doubt that is your problem.

This is going to be a slow process, but I want help you get your PP going.

You say you have 2 PowerPods. For BOTH PP, please do the following:

1. Attach a PP to your bike

2 Take pictures of PP as mounted on your bike: front and side views. The side view should how the unit is angled with respect to the ground.

3. Connect PP to Isaac. Go to "Edit/Edit Profiles". Click "Extract from Device"--this will provide the profile currently stored in your unit.

4. Click the "Export" button to export your profile to your desktop. Make sure to name the profile in a way that identifies it with your profile: "Profile bike 1" or "Profile bike 2".

5. Repeat steps 1-4 for your other PP.

Please post photos and profiles. After analyzing them I will provide next steps.

Please see if there are any .ibr ride files in your unit. If so please post them here. These files will have lots of clues about what is going on.

There is hope!

One of your ride files had a working profile in it. Do the following:

1) Copy the attached profile on to your desktop

2) Connect PP to Isaac

3). Double click on the profile. This will add it to your "Edit/Edit Profiles" profile list

4). In The Edit/Edit Profiles window, click "Send to device". This will transfer your profile to your unit

5). Lock-up your front fork, then do a short ride with your PP

6). Post the .ibr ride file here

The problem may be that you are doing a cal ride with your front fork unlocked. this can cause problems with the cal ride. Once I see your updated ride file I will know better what is going on.

I am sincerely confused:

1). You have not, until this post, explained that you are using 3 bikes: 2 MT, one road bike, and two different power pods. Please confirm!

2) You posted two ride files. These are from the same PP, but I don't know if this is one of your MTB PP or road PP

3) I don't know if you loaded the profile I sent you, on which bike this was intended to be used, or if you tested this profile on the corresponding bike.

4) I don't know which bike or PP was used in the two ride files you posted

5) For the ride files you posted, the profile used with them is NOT from the profile I asked you to use

6). I don't know why the ride files are so short

7) I don't know if you have different speed sensors on each of your three bikes. This is important to know

Given my confusion I am at a complete loss about what is going on with your units or how to help you.

Let's work on one bike and one powerpod at a time. Because you have so many variables in play we are going to need to do this slowly so that we can figure out what is going on:

1. For the PP you use with your two mtbs, connect your PPMTB (the PP you use with your mountain bikes) to Isaac
2. Go to "Edit/Edit Profiles"
3. Click the button "extract from device". This will show the active profile in your device. TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF WHAT YOU SEE (in my example it is profile 3)

4. At the bottom of the window use the dropdown menu "Set Active Profile in Device" to profile 1

5. Click the "Extract from Device" button. You will extract profile 1 from your PP into Isaac, and it will be labeled as such:

6. Click the "Export..." button; you will see a screen something like this:

7. Replace the highlighted word "untitled" with the word "MTB Profile 1"

8. Go back to step 4, and repeat steps 4-7 for profile 2, 3 and 4, making sure to label the corresponding exported profiles 2, 3 and 4

9. Post here your screen shot and your four profiles.

This will let me understand what is currently in your PPMTB. After that we will proceed to the next steps.

xtrage the PP just record 1 hour but my ride was 2.

I never bought a device that in seven 7 years don’t work properly even from the start.
The lack of support for final user more than manual and some users videos, do you has to have more xplanatory content.

I have looked at your ride files and something sticks out: most of the time your bike speed is only about 4 mph.

Also: there are gross discrepancies between your elevation-measured slope and the accelerometer slope. Is this ride from a mountain bike? If so do you have your front fork locked-up? If this ride was on your MTB and you did not have the front fork locked, that would explain the issues.

Please post photos of the bike you used in this ride. I know you have two bikes; the road bike Pinarello should be fine.

Please do the following:

1) Remove your PP from the mountain bike where you are posting ride files

2) Attach the removed PP to Isaac and change its profile to an unused profile, using the command Edit/Edit Profiles/Set Active Profile. For example, if your PP for your MTB is set to profile 1, change your active profile to profile 2

2) Attach the removed PP to your road bike

3) Do a sensor pairing of the PP on your road bike (make sure your MTB sensors are off)

4) Do a cal ride with your road bike, followed by a 5 mile road ride

5) Download the road bike 5 mile ride and post here

This will allow me to determine if there is a problem with your PP or, perhaps, a problem with its mounting on your mountain bike

Thank you; this is good information.

Here is what appears to be going on:

1) On your MTB your lockout seems to not totally prevent your front fork from moving up and down. In general, your PP works well on your MTB. However, at the end of your climb, where you have a really steep slope, your front fork compression changes, causing the PP angle to change, causing high watts. I know this because the PP adjusts its settings continuously in response to changes in mounting angle. If there is no change in PP orientation, the "slope offset" number remains nearly constant, but on your steep hills (around time 14:30) the slope offset number goes crazy, as does the difference between PP watts (white) and DFPM watts (green).

This means that something is causing its angle to change. Does your MTB also have rear adjustable forks?

2) Your road bike ride looks fine. There are no issues with your PP performance; therefore, I conclude that your PP is working properly.

To summarize: I think your PP works well on your road bike. Most of the time your PP also works well on your MTB, but if the front fork pumps AT ALL, then where it does your PP will have problems.
