PowerPod V3 wind-sensor problem

Post by PaulK32 »

I am using a PowerPod V3 with pitot tube. I noticed a few weeks ago that de wind-data was not right for both my bike profiles (road and mtb).

I had a couple of months the idea that a mud-bobble was inside. It made noise like a small ball rolling inside. This noise is now gone, but the wind-sensor gives data as if I only have wind from the rear.

I gave it a try and dismounted the pitot tube and blow some wind in the port. Did not solve this. I send a file of today. MTB-ride and the situation is the same. I use also the Aeropod-app and this also gives the result of "wind from the rear".

Can you give me an option what to do ?

Kind Regards and greeting from the Netherlands (lots of wind),
Paul
