Idle - power off time?

Just wanted to know, how long will the PowerPod will remain in idle position before powering off?
The reason is that normally our club rides some semi-long rides (from 60 to 120 KM). Most of the rides include a stopover for coffee or just a break. sometimes these stops are brief but most of the time around 30 min, so when I get back to the bike, the power meter shows 0 watts and I fail to wake up it as soon as I start riding again.
I there a way to keep it ON longer?
