Last week I asked for help with my settings for a new bike:
http://velocompforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=5764
John was kind enough to review my profile and sent a corrected one that I used since, but today's ride, PPod was doing something strange, it was like if it needed calibration, and also it kept like restarting every few meters/hours
I'm attaching the files generated by the device.
for now I deleted the profiles and reloaded the corrected profile... what could have happened?
Thanks

Re: Strange behavior from PowerPod
I looked at your ride files:
1) The files from earliest in the day had the default wind factor of 1.000, suggesting that your profile was not calibrated
2) It looks like you did a new cal ride at 731
2) The two longer files after your cal ride (13 and 15KM) look ok, but where they join your HR drops radically. Did you stop to take a break at this point? Combined ride file attached.
I don't see any reason for your unit to be starting/stopping mysteriously.

Re: Strange behavior from PowerPod
It was weird... my Garmin was displaying random values then got stuck at 50 for a very long time, then it started to show "normal values" and then started to went off again. I did stop, this is a group ride that I make with my LBS one way up to the hill, stop for coffee and chats, and then back to the store. This is the first time this has happened, so I thought you would be interested in the files.
I will go out tomorrow again, if I see something similar, I will come back. PowerPod will have the original corrected profile that you sent me last week and I was using it all this time.
thanks for your patience and guidance on this...
Alejandro
