new PP calibration question

Post by tigre242 »

Hello,
I calibrated my PP for the first time yesterday (it used to belong to my husband), and I would appreciate it if you could take a look at my calibration file and let me know if you see any indications that I should do it over.
My calibration numbers seemed to be pretty close to the "generic" calibration numbers, but it was a bit windy the day I did my calibration ride and I think I may need to do it over.
Thank you for any guidance or advice.
-Allison

Please attach a ride file recorded after the completion of your cal ride.

Your wind calibration was off, likely due to the windy conditions of your cal ride.

I corrected your ride file and profile, attached.

Is your total bike/rider weight of 136 pounds correct?

Thank you very much.
Yes, my bike and I weigh 136lbs.
I have one more question for you: I mostly draft my husband when I ride, should I do a separate drafting calibration, or will the power pod compensate for the drafting?
Thank you again for all of your help and support on this.

PowerPod automatically compensates for drafting.

Question: in your cal ride, or in the ride file you posted in this thread, were you doing any drafting?

No, I did the calibration ride solo.

Hello again,
I tried to update your corrected calibration profile in Isaac but got the following error:
"The following parameters are out of range: Fric=.007 (Allowed range: 0.10 to 1000.00)"
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you,
Allison

Try loading this profile. I think this one should work.
