Crr

Post by xeijsbouts »

Hi,

In the profile my Crr = 0,0062 (Road tyre 700x28c)

I have a table with Crr of continental 5000 tyre.
Is to better to put this Crr in the profile?
(for example 0,00363 for 5,5 bar (Crr of single tyre))

You can use these lower values of Crr if you wish, but the value of Crr (0.0054) we use also accounts for other, non-tire losses, such as bearing resistance.

What happens in practice is that if Crr is lowered, then estimated CdA needs to be increased a bit.

The most important thing is to use a stable value of Crr and CdA, so that you get consistent results across your summer riding.
