Update / Unlock question

Hi Gang,
Due to this bug, my Powerpod hasn't seen much use as I've been stuck in the basement, working from home and using the smart trainer for more than a year. So, I've got things sorted on the road bike and the weather is finally nice enough for skinny tires here...and I may be able to do the upgrade / unlock for my Powerpod Lite. My question is, will the current unlock work on my V2 model (last of the "chunky" body style), or will I need to upgrade to a newer model?
