Trainer mode ok is. Zwift nope.

Post by Teaman »

Just got an android phone instead on my iPhone.
Not ridden for months due to health reasons but now I'm up for a bit of indoor training im not having much luck.
I think I've connected to powerhouse app but isn't holding my prof. I cluck profile and bike set up, select my bike when it connects to powerpod but won't let me save it on my phone.
Also I'm trying to use zwift and its being a complete pain.
On my laptop running ant+ adapter it will see my sensors but drop signal as soon as I try to ride.
Odd as my lezyne cycle computer isn't dropping signal.

When I try to use my phone zwift on android it will connect to the powerpod but say signal lost every 2 seconds and reconnect instantly. When I go to ride, again I loose signal completely, no wattage displayed at all.

I have clicked trainer mode sent on Isaacs.

Its a V3 powerpod.
Just about to hook up to pc again and check updates but worried ill loose my calibration.

Hi, I have set up my PowerPod in Trainer mode to work with Zwift both on laptop and Android mobile with no issues.

Sounds like you may either have an issue with your PowerPod or your speed sensor. I am sure John will be able to give you a definitive answer.

Using mio speed and cadence sensor.
Everything working fine via the powerhouse app.
Everything working fine on my lezyne enhanced super gps.
Got ant+ dongle in USB extension looped onto my top tube.

Got it working fine a few hours ago but my hr monitor wasn't connected to zwift.
Clicked connect and it went daft.
Doesn't matter if on laptop via dongle or trying to use zwift on my phone.

I've turned bt off on my laptop to try to get it working via ant+.

Had these issues before and ended up using bkool. (Had a month demo)

If I use zwift just using the speed and cadence plus hrm sensors and set it up for my elite chrono fluid elastogel it appears to work but rather generous with the estimated wattage.
I guess I might do that and just keep my lezyne connected to the powerpod but I like to have things working right.
I expect speeds to differ from my lezyne as zwift algorithms change speed forcwatts in watopia.
I just want wattage to make sense

I don't understand from your post where you are having problems.
