Hi John,
I rode around the neighborhood to see if the power from PPV3 looked good. Power was high. Riding easily, it was in the 200w range and when I accelerated hard it read 800 watts which I can't do. Check Calibration adjusted average power from 188w down to 143w. It said that the tilt was 3.7%, which is within what you have said is nominal. ( You say thatWhen setting up the PP you say that "as [long] it is within +/- 20 degrees of level you will be fine.") Tilt was 4% diff than the profile.
I thought if I rode long enough PP would figure out the tilt and read nominally. The 800w reading came at the 8 minute mark. Since Check Calibration adjusted the power 25%, what do you recommend so PP reports power more accurately in an upcoming race?
Thank you much,
Dan

Re: Power Reading High
The first 5 minutes of your ride PP was recalibrating itself. It was off pretty far so it can take longer than 5 minutes to fully self correct.
You accelerated from 19 to 24 mph in a time of 9 seconds. That takes power.
I don't see anything wrong.
