Wind cal incorrect

Post by cbuchan »

I went on a ride in the rain and at one point the wind sensor seemed to stop working. No problem I kind of expected it wouldn't work in the rain but today I went out and my file shows that I had a massive tail wind the whole time as though the wind sensor is not working. Is there a way to check if the sensor is working correctly.

The first file is my ride from today wind was fairly calm about 5-7 miles per hour from the west.

The second was an out and back.

Make sure there is no residual water in the wind port or in the baro sensor port (on the side of the unit).

If you see water blow it out. Things should then be OK.

I checked the ports(wind on the front and baro on the bottom). Todays ride still had the same problem. Is there something I can do to check the ports better.
the 6-09 ride and today (attached) were in dry warm conditions and the PP is stored indoors between rides.
