New PP V3 will not connect to Isaac

This is new as it did prior to me upgrading from lite to full up version. On isaac the box around the icon never turns green although when I plug in the PP the light comes on so the connection to the computer is made.

I sometimes have this problem. I use a different cable and/or move the USB mini in the PP socket. For some reason the PP connector and the cable wear each other out.

Changed everything a few times, it is connecting because the lights come on when u connect it. Isaac just will not recognize it.
