Move from PP BLE to PP V3

Post by texbiker »

What is the best way to move 2 bikes from a PP BLE to the PP V3? Can I transfer the profiles using Issac? Should I do that? Start from scratch and create new profiles? Create new profiles with a ride or use the Powerhouse app?

I want the least frustration possible.

You will need to do new calibration rides anyway for each profile so just as well setting up new profiles.

You should do new setups for your new PPV3. Here are two ways to set it up

Isaac:

1) Connect PP to Isaac. Set up profile 1 using the "Device/Setup Device" wizard in Isaac
2) Select "Best Accuracy" in the final step of the wizard
3) Pair PP to your bike 1 sensors (make sure other bike sensors are off)
4) Pair PP to your bike computer
5) Attach PP to your bike, then do an out-back cal ride

Repeat the above steps for bike 2, selecting profile 2 in Isaac

PowerHouse Bike app

1) Follow the video, starting at about 3:26, to set up profile 1/bike 1

2) Pair PP to your bike 1 sensors (make sure other bike sensors are off)
3) Pair PP to your bike computer
4) Attach PP to your bike, then do an out-back cal ride

Repeat the above steps for bike 2, selecting bike 2 in the app.
