Problem Pairing PowerPod V3 With Speed Sensor

Post by saadmufti »

Hi,

As indicated in instruction, I spun the wheel to wake up the speed sensor (it is a Wahoo dual Bluetooth/ANT+ speed sensor). I saw its blue light flashing to indicate woken up. I turned on my Edge 530 bike computer to confirm that the sensor can be seen, then turned off the bike computer. Pressed and held the PowerPod button for 4 seconds, it started flashing green and I released it. Then instructions said to click the button and it should turn Yellow (good pairing) or Red (failure pairing). But no matter how many times I click, it kept flashing green. Finally I just held the button down for about 10 seconds and it flashed red once and turned off. I think that means i did a factory reset? I repeated the procedure a couple more times, each time with the same result.

Can someone please help with what is going wrong? Am I following the pairing procedure correctly?

Thanks.

I have the exact same problem - did you find a fix for this?
