PP lite - calibration check

Post by marian_chicu »

Hi John,

could you help and look at today's ride please?
Looks extremely all over the place.. I would've loved to have those numbers during my commute, but I suspect it was the weather (rainy, windy) and probably a bad positioning of the PP.

I've never had an OB ride, used it in the past weeks with only "better accuracy".

my numbers are:
weight - 76.5 kg
bike + clothes + kit - 12 kg
bike's a Cannondale CAADX (cyclocross bike with road Zafiro Pro tires)
ride mostly on the hoods
tarmac is mixt quality - part good, part average

Lemme know if I can provide anything else!

PS: I'm the dumb customer that focked the button on his PP lite (emailed you about a month ago). Now I removed the button completely and kindly push the button with a small key to start the unit :-).

Thanks

This looks OK, but there are some weird slope spikes in your ride file. Do you have a front fork that moves up and down?

nope, straight road setup, maybe tire pressure was a bit low and the road too bumpy, but nothing too extreme.
Do you reckon I should submit a different, longer file, with less traffic and a more consistent ride?

hi John, please see attached 2 rides of today..
not sure how useful, as they're limited by the lite's 10 min
this is something I realized after I wanted to give you better files

Your wind scaling was the default (uncalibrated) value so I adjusted it.

Otherwise, you are fine.

Load this into your device and you'll be ready to go.

John.. is anything wrong or changed with your site's shipping model?
I paid half on getting the powerpod.. and now this for a mount?

Yikes, that is a huge overcharge!

Maximum shipping cost should be $35 for international. If you are shipping domestically, it is $11.

Place your order and I will personally see to-it that your excess shipping charge is refunded.
