I have a PowerPod V3 and a Garmin Edge830.
I want to display wind speed and slope data.
I want to embed it in the Garmin Connect-IQ app I am developing.
How can I get wind speed and slope values?

Our communication protocol for wind, slope, CdA and Time Advantage are proprietary.

Once Garmin releases the ANT CdA standard we will adopt it and then you can reference the standard.

How about just the wind and slope? That's for us PP users - I'd like to get the information working - even if I have to write a routine myself. One that just displays these two data fields separately _-- LIKE all Garmin data fields.

It will all be in the Garmin CdA ANT profile.

Hi John
When do you expect Garmin to add a CdA ANT profile?
Can I get wind and slope with BLE?
Is the original protocol logic public?
I just want to display the wind speed in km / h instead of mph.

1) Hopefully in October
2) No
3) No
4) Once Garmin releases the spec, and after we adopt it, you will be able to create your own ConnectIQ app
