Long Time PP V2 User Profile Insight

Post by texbiker »

I have been using the PP V2 for several years with almost 17,000 miles. I have used the same profile except when I changed from a Stradalli to a Canyon bike in February 2018. I think the profile provides an accurate portrait of my rides but I would like your comments on the profile to verify that.

The 8/15/2019 ride was on roads starting and finishing at the same location though not on the same roads. You can see the route at this link. https://sporttracks.mobi/activity/22336199

The 8/17/2019 was around the community where I live with mixed streets. The link for that ride. https://sporttracks.mobi/activity/22351761

The links show the general weather conditions and wind.

Thank you for taking time to look at these rides.

Well, today was a big day for me...my GPS Tracker app said I had crossed the 4,000 mile mark of recorded rides. This made me really happy!

Now, I read your post about 17,000 miles...

I looked at your ride files and I don't see anything wrong.

Your 8/17 ride shows some evidence of rain around mile 17.5, and your 8/18 ride does not show that.

It is fantastic that you have held the same profile for all these mile. This means you can track your progress over time. Keep at it!!

Your CdA is set for a TT bike; is this correct for you?

NO TT bike, just a Canyon Endurace CF SLX with almost 12,600 miles. It can go much faster than I can make it go.

There were a few rain drops on the 8/17/ride but just enough to make the Wahoo Elemnt screen dotted. The other ride was dry as a Texas desert.

Thanks for looking over the rides.
