Adjusting auto-shutoff

Post by Psycho Mike »

Hi PP Gang,

I'm wondering if there are any plans in the works to allow the user to adjust the automatic shut-off interval for the PPs using the Isaac software. I did a ride with a group this weekend and had an issue where the PP shut down while we waited for that one last rider to be ready. I ended up not noticing for the first while, so I lost some data.

Perhaps it is a bit of a learning curve (just learning when I have to make sure it is on and re-paired if there is a wait), but perhaps it is something to consider letting the user adjust in the future. Just a thought :)

Every time we change something some people are happy...and those who don't know that the "thing" has been changed are very unhappy! :D

PP will shut itself off after 20 minutes of inactivity. If you have stopped and you're worried about PP shutting down, then just click its button. That will extend its awake period for 20 minutes.

If you're not sure PP is awake, then when you start riding you can always click its button. Even if it is asleep that will turn it back on and you won't lose any data.
