I am curious. Is calorie amount on a bike computer an indication of good calibration?
I know your calorie count wont be 100% correct but looking at calorie calculators and how much you should be burning? Is it any sort of indication of how good your calibration is?
I mean, stopping and starting in town wont be a good indicator, but say a good stretch of road for about 1 mile, withour stops and see how much calories you should have burned in that distance and time?
So if you were not to far out would it give you an indication? But I guess wind alters things but still may give some indication, maybe?
I do notice if you stop peddling the bike computer wont show a caliore count, so stopping at lights, etc and starting takes several secs for powerpod to show power, so will effect calorie count.
Curious, Calorie count a rough indicator of good calibration?

If your PP is properly calibrated, calorie count will be accurate within 2%.
Calories are power added up over time.
