Powerpod or virtual power

Post by Yosser70 »

I'm setting up to do some indoor training on a dumb trainer. Would I be better using virtual power on say trainerroad or use my Powerpod (only reason I ask is my trainer isn't on the list in Iassc, so can only gey a close approximate of power). I'm guessing the PP would be better but also wondering how people find their indoor and outdoor numbers compare when using the PP. I like to use the fitness/freshness charts so having the data from indoors and out at least close is important.

Either will be fine, though PP will save your training files for later use.

OK, thanks for that. On the trainer front, is adding watts to another profile ok to get it closer to mine or is there a way of adding the correct profile?

You can customize a profile in the Edit Training Settings menu of Isaac.
